I hold a PhD in Educational Psychology, with my research primarily focusing on the role of Moral Disengagement in Cyberbullying.

I am an Assistant Professor in the Psychology Bachelor's program and in the Erasmus-Mundus Master's in Cyberspace Behavior and E-therapy at Lusófona University. I am also a member of the HEI-Lab: Digital Human-Environment Interaction Labs research group at Lusófona University, Portugal.

My research interests encompass peer violence, promoting coexistence and student well-being, as well as Bullying and Cyberbullying. I am particularly interested in the promotion of socio-emotional skills to deal with bullying/cyberbullying situations and cross-cultural studies in the field of school violence across different educational levels. My research interests also include exploring novel intervention methodologies for cyberbullying, particularly those involving Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), as well as the use of physiological measures to better understand the cyberbullying phenomenon.
