Catarina Jorge Fonseca Raposo

Catarina Raposo is a Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist, recognized as a Specialist in Clinical and Health Psychology by the Portuguese Psychologists Association (OPP), with postgraduate qualifications in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Sexology. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality from the Doctoral Program in Human Sexuality at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCEUP). She is currently an Assistant Professor at Universidade Lusófona – Centro Universitário de Lisboa and maintains clinical practice in private practice. Catarina is also a certified Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapist, having completed her training at the Portuguese Association for Behavior Therapy (APTC). She is a member of the research team of the project “Anthesis – A Transdiagnostic Approach to Sexual Distress: Testing a Pilot Online Intervention”, funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), ref. 2022.09087.PTDC. In addition, Catarina has authored scientific articles and book chapters on topics related to transdiagnostic processes, psychological interventions, and sexology, employing both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
