Science Manager – HEI-Lab, Lusófona University (Lisbon)

HEI-Lab – Digital Laboratories for Human Environments and Interactions at Lusófona University – is looking for a Science Manager to join its team in Lisbon.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and management of an interdisciplinary research centre at the intersection of technology and human behaviour.

Science and Technology Management Contract (Doctor)

Universidade Lusófona, through the Talent Management Department, is looking to recruit a Science Manager for the Research Centre – HEI- Lab: Digital Laboratories for Human Environments and Interactions.

Salary / Compensation:
Average monthly salary between €2,000.00 and €2,400.00, depending on the candidate's qualifications, plus a meal allowance.

What you need to succeed:
- Holder a PhD;
- Training and/or proven experience in management roles in science and technology or project management;
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written;
- Experience in supporting the preparation and submission of applications under national and international research funding programs (preferred).

Main responsibilities:
- Support for HEI-Lab activities;
- Organisation of dissemination, information and knowledge transfer events within the scope of HEI-Lab activities;
- Drawing up a strategic plan for training and attracting funding for HEI-Lab;
- Managing the process of providing regular information on available funding opportunities;
- Support in preparing and submitting applications for national and international research funding programmes;
- Coordination and management of R&D projects, including technical support for contracting, budget management, communication with funding agencies and implementation of nationally and internationally funded projects;
- Support in human resources recruitment and selection processes;
- Managing and processing data, writing reports and drafting opinions to support decision-making;
- Coordination of protection and industrial property processes.
