MonsterLab wins “Best Game Demo” at Videojogos 2025
The game MonsterLab, developed within the GameIn research project (FCT 2022.07939.PTDC) at Lusófona University, was awarded the “Best Game Demo” prize at the 15th International Conference on Video Game Science and Arts (Videogames 2025).
The conference was organized by the Portuguese Society of Video Game Science and IPMaia – Polytechnic Institute of Maia.
GameIn is a project focused on using games to promote the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities. MonsterLab is one of the several results of this project and was co-created with users from APPACDM Lisbon (Ajuda) and CECD Mira Sintra, whose collaboration was essential for its development.
