EPIC-WE Project at the European Parliament Highlights the Role of Video Games in Promoting European Values
The EPIC-WE project took part in the European Youth Event 2025, held on 13–14 June at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France. Inês Nunes (HEI-Lab) and Maria Gonçalves (CICANT) represented the Óbidos hub, joining peers from Hilversum (Netherlands) and Aarhus (Denmark) for two talks titled “Shaping Europe’s Culture Through Games”. The researchers emphasised the potential of video games to promote European values, the role of game jams as spaces for youth cultural creation, and the importance of young people as agents of change.
