Under the theme “Systemic risks in a changing world: Bridging science and society for evidence-based practice”, this international meeting brought together researchers and professionals from different fields of knowledge to discuss and debate emerging issues related to risk analysis, management, prevention, and communication.
We are pleased to share that two members of our lab were distinguished at this conference:
-
Catarina Possidónio was awarded the Best Poster Award for her poster in the field of healthy eating habits promotion and prevention of food-related risks, entitled “From Likes to Lifestyle: Consumer Perceptions and Communication Strategies of Plant-Based Products in Social Media”.
-
Vera Pereira was awarded the Poster Honourable Mention for her poster in the field of gender-based violence and the prevention of sexual violence against women, entitled “Objectification or Empowerment? Women’s self-representation on social media, vulnerability to sexual violence, and postmodern feminist values”.
These recognitions highlight the quality of the research carried out at BeSCC and reinforce the relevance of our work in the fields of risk analysis and behavioural change.
