Diogo R. V. Carreiras completed his Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Coimbra in 2014. In 2023, he successfully completed his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the same institution. He holds recognition as a Clinical Psychologist accredited by the Portuguese Psychologists Association and serves as a Professor at Lusófona University (Porto) and Miguel Torga Higher Education (Coimbra) in Portugal. Additionally, he is a Researcher at HEI-Lab (Digital Human-Environment Interaction Lab) and CINEICC (Center for Research in Neuropsychology and Cognitive-Behavioral Intervention of the University of Coimbra). Diogo has authored 28 published articles in specialized journals, and his contributions extend to 3 book chapters. His work in the field has earned him 7 distinguished awards and distinctions. Over the past few years, he has demonstrated his commitment to the growth of aspiring psychologists by supervising 19 internships in clinical psychology and 15 master's thesis. His primary research interests encompass a wide range of topics, including Personality Disorders, Adolescence, Borderline Personality Symptomatology, Third Wave Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies, LGBTQ+ population, and the intricate processes of Emotional (Dys)Regulation.
