Daniela Tavares

Daniela Tavares is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Lusófona University, where she also completed her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Clinical and Health Psychology. She additionally holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Sciences from the Faculty of Human Kinetics, University of Lisbon. Currently, she is a doctoral fellow funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), conducting the project “Infant neurobehavioral regulatory profiles and symptoms of developmental and mental health problems at 2 years of age: a longitudinal study”. She was awarded a Fulbright Research Grant (2025/2026) to conduct part of her research at the Cognitive, Affect, and Psychophysiology Lab at Virginia Tech (USA), under the supervision of Professor Martha Ann Bell. Daniela’s work focuses on perinatal mental health and infant development.
