Carla Antunes has a PhD in Psychology of Justice from the University of Minho. Currently is an Assistant Professor, director of the Master's Degree in ‘Psychology of Justice: Victims of Crime’ and sub-director of the Master's Degree in Juvenile Justice and Protection of Children and Young People at Risk at Lusófona University – Porto University Center. She is a researcher at Hei-Lab-Digital Human Environment Interaction Lab, focusing on research concerning adult and child/adolescent victimization, forensic psychological assessment, and the child protection system. Her professional experience includes intervention with children/adolescents and families involved in the child protection system, clinical practice with victims, forensic assessment, and training experts in forensic psychological assessment. She is a full member of the OPP, a specialist in Clinical and Health Psychology, with an advanced specialty in Psychology of Justice. Her contributions include numerous published articles and chapters, both nationally and internationally, addressing topics such as interpersonal violence, violence during childhood and adolescence, forensic psychological assessment, and psychological intervention with victims.
