José Bourbon-Teles

José Bourbon-Teles has a PhD in neuropsychology from Imperial College London (UK) obtained in 2014 followed by postdoctoral research projects at Cardiff University (UK) and the University of Coimbra. His research interests relate to the application of neuropsychological and neuroimaging techniques (i.e., DTI, fMRI) to study human cognition, notably the neural correlates subserving working memory, attention and object recognition. His research interests extend to the field of human rehabilitation and the application of intervention programs (e.g., mental training, VR) to promote neural plasticity and cognitive rehabilitation in aging and dementia populations.
