The competition is an outcome from the Artificial Intelligence subject, which is part of the Videogames Ba curricula. The success among students, as well as the incremental challenges posed by the project, led to it being proposed as a competition at IEEE CoG 2020, with the proposal being accepted by the organizing committee.
